The Battle in the Bluegrass was designed to be an early pre-season tournament that brings clubs together to play highly competitive matches at an affordable price! Hosted by the same organization that runs the Nationally recognized Nike Blue Chip College Showcase, we designed the Battle in the Bluegrass to meet very specific goals in player and club development where teams will be matched with common quality opponents with a focus on competitive balance within brackets and divisions. 

Event Highlights:

• Open to ALL levels of U9-U15 boy’s and girl’s teams
• LOW-COST early season tournament!!
• Club Centric event designed to offer clubs an opportunity to send all teams to a single location. Greater access for club directors to see all teams play early-season matches.
• Multiple divisions in an age group/gender to promote competitive balance
• Woodford Youth Soccer Complex (126 Industry Dr. Versailles, KY 40383) used as the main site with additional local facilities as secondary sites if needed.
• All referees will be USSF certified referees
• GotSoccer scheduler to avoid coaching conflicts
• Fun Kids Zone for players to enjoy in between games
