CINCINNATI, OH — Kings Hammer Soccer Club welcomes Skylin Yates as Goalkeeper Director for its Cincinnati hub, where she will lead the GK Union.
A Northern Kentucky native, Yates played for NKSA and Kings Hammer before starring at Simon Kenton High School, where she was part of four consecutive regional championship teams and recorded 52 shutouts.
She continued her playing career at Thomas More University, earning First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors as a freshman with a 9-3 record, six shutouts, and 56 saves.
Yates began coaching at Simon Kenton as head goalkeeper coach and junior varsity head coach, while also coaching U9–U13 goalkeepers at Fusion FC. She later joined Bellarmine University’s Division I women’s soccer staff ahead of the 2025 season and coached at Sacred Heart Academy.
Most recently, Yates served as Goalkeeping Director at Racing Louisville, overseeing U11–U19 goalkeepers. She led training, supported team preparation, introduced film sessions, developed goalkeeper-specific speed and agility programming, and helped build a goalkeeper development curriculum
Yates holds a USSF C License and a bachelor’s degree in sports and entertainment marketing, with a minor in business administration, from Thomas More University.
“GK Union has a proud tradition at Kings Hammer, and Skylin is the right person to carry it forward. She’s relentless in her organization and her communication with staff, players, and families. She already has a history with several of our goalkeepers who are in the U.S. Soccer Talent ID Centers and our GK pool. She’s a Northern Kentucky product who came through our club, and we’re thrilled to bring her home to lead the next chapter for our keepers.”
