Murfreesboro, TN – March 26, 2024 – Kings Hammer Murfreesboro Soccer Club is excited to announce the launch of the Kings Hammer Academy Program for the upcoming 2024/2025 Season. This marks a significant milestone in the club’s commitment to providing exceptional player development opportunities for athletes in Murfreesboro and the Greater Nashville region.

The Kings Hammer Academy Program is designed to elevate players’ skills and foster excellence across all levels. It offers professional coaching, top-notch facilities, structured training, and competitive opportunities for young athletes seeking to excel in soccer.

Representing the next step in the club’s Player Development Pathway, the Kings Hammer Academy Program is offered to ages 10U to 19U. It provides comprehensive training to prepare athletes for elite competition and collegiate recruitment. As part of the program, Pre-Academy players aged 10U to 12U will have the opportunity to participate in regional league play, while Academy players aged 13U to 19U will compete in the National Premier Leagues (NPL), a platform that showcases top talent from across the country.

An academy within a club system, the Kings Hammer Academy Program follows a proven model that has produced players competing at state, regional, national, collegiate, and professional levels. The program offers a range of benefits, including high-level match competition, professional guidance from licensed coaches, and access to top-notch facilities.

FAQs for Kings Hammer Murfreesboro Fall 2024-Spring 2025 Season

1. What will the upcoming programming look like for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 season?

Kings Hammer Mid-South Region will introduce an Academy Program alongside its existing Player Pathway model, offering appropriate aged training for all levels of players. Click here to view the updated Player Development Pathway.
Programs will be offered year-round.
Full details of all programming will be released in May 2024.

2. What is an Academy Program? How will it be different from the current Premier Program?

An Academy Program is a youth development initiative within a club system aimed at nurturing players with the vision and ambition to reach the highest levels of the sport.
The Kings Hammer Academy will provide enhanced match competition, skill development, collegiate scouting opportunities, access to licensed coaches, and top-notch facilities.

3. Will the fees increase? Will there be Payment Plans? What about Financial Aid & Scholarships?

Fees will be structured to reflect the offerings of each program.
All-inclusive fees will cover expenses except uniforms and personal travel.
Payment plans will be available, and Financial Aid & Scholarships will still be offered immediately following tryouts.

4. Where will teams train/play?

Teams will primarily use the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex for training.
Additional training venues may be added based on program growth and partnerships with local authorities to improve facilities.

5. What will happen to my current team for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 season? Does our current coach stay on?

Player development will continue with an improved model.
Current coaches will remain part of the club, with opportunities for career advancement and coaching support.

6. Will we get more coaches?

Recruitment and retention efforts will ensure sufficient coaching staff to support player development.

7. Will there be more travel?

Grassroots Program games will continue at Richard Siegel Soccer Complex.
Premier Program teams will travel for JDL and TSL games within TN and possibly other states.
Academy Program teams will compete regionally and nationally in NPL, and in TSL league, Mid-South League, and other platforms.

8. Will we keep our current uniforms/player kits?

Uniforms will change for Fall 2024-Spring 2025 and remain for a 2-year cycle, featuring Nike branding.
Pricing will be comparable to previous kits, with an additional 3rd jersey requirement for Academy Program players.
